A truly different experience
Why not come along and see us at work?
A visit to the James Dean Pottery workshop is a truly different experience. We welcome groups of between 12 and 30 to visit us in the heart of the East Sussex countryside. Visits last approximately 2 hours.
On your visit, you can experience at first hand the intricate art of producing decorated fine china. We’ll begin with an illustrated history of our industry and, after a demonstration, we’ll hand over to you for you to produce your own souvenir piece of china.
To finish off your visit, enjoy tea and home made cakes whilst you browse in our factory shop.
Workshop visits can be booked by calling us on 01797 230430 or by emailing us. Visits should be made by appointment only and cost £4 per person.
Individual visitors are welcome to visit the workshop to purchase only, workshops are limited to pre-booked groups only.
